On his website, Jimmy tells us he has lived longer
in the arctic then he has lived in the south
Canada were he grew up in and around Watford
and London Ontario.
Jimmy is strictly a black and white photographer.
A complete one-man show, he does it all. He loads
the 4×5 film, exposes the film, mixes the chemicals,
develops, fine prints, mats and frames the image. He
also puts the image up on the internet and writes
about his photography.
Summer of 2006 marked a new begging for Jimmy MacDonald.
“I said… I’m ready.” “Then entered into my tiny
darkroom located in my tiny bedroom.”
“I looked around and came out pumped to photograph
and print a new work of 2006/07 images. It’s time.”
